Corporate Social Responsibility:

AlMarasem is 100% committed to the Egyptian community and has launched several initiatives to support the most vulnerable segments of society including a project to help Upper Egypt’s most impoverished villages through its “A key for a key” scheme. For every housing unit sold AlMarasem helps reconstruct or renovate a house in these villages and on February 1st, 2018, the first phase of this project – which included 140 homes in three villages in Beni Sueif – was inaugurated, with the initiative set to continue for several more years.

Redirecting its gaze towards another deserving demographic in Egypt, the company joined forces with the Egyptian Paralympic Committee to provide financial support for Egyptian special needs champions and help them qualify for and represent Egypt at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

With the Olympic Winter Games that were played in 2018 in PyeongChang, South Korea and the XII Paralympic Winter Games between 9 and 18 March, 2018, it was the ideal moment to show that the spotlight was not only focused on able-bodied athletes but on all individuals passionate about their sports and working hard to overcome any potential physical or mental disadvantage they were born with or have acquired over the courses of their lives. These champions deserve society’s recognition and aid and are sure to make Egypt proud the next edition of the Paralympic Games in 2020 and AlMarasem is proud to contribute to their training expenses and journey towards personal and national glory in Tokyo.

AlMarasem will continue to prioritize its contributions to society, joining forces with organizations that seek to improve the lives of citizens wherever a partnership is feasible and effective.
